Joanna Kreft - violin
Joanna Kreft graduated from the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in 2013, where she studied under Professor Marcin Baranowski. She also completed studies in baroque violin at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under Aureliusz Goliński in 2019.
She has received, among others, two special prizes at the 14th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań (2011) and the Grand Prix at the Master Class & Music Festival in Piła (2012). She receives scholarships from the “Młoda Polska” program and the Jutting Stiftung.
Joanna is a co-founder of the Herbert Piano Trio, which debuted at the Polish Radio Concert Studio in Katowice.
Ewa Guzowska - viola
Ewa Guzowska – soloist, chamber musician, and pedagogue. A graduate of the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin. She holds the title of Professor and Doctor Habilitatus and leads the viola class at the Academy of Music in Poznań.
She collaborates with numerous orchestras and conducts masterclasses in Poland and abroad. Professor Guzowska has served as a juror in many competitions.
Her discography includes recordings of viola and piano sonatas by J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, J. Brahms, P. Hindemith, R. Clarke, J. Papaja, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, T. Paciorkiewicz, R. Gnattali, D. Shostakovich, and F. Chopin.
Many composers have dedicated their works to her.
Tomasz Lisiecki - cello
Tomasz Lisiecki – CEO of Pro Cello Foundation. Versatile cellist with a PhD, lecturer at Paderewski Academy of Music. He gets many invitations to lead masterclasses and courses all over Poland, and it brings his students to success. He performed as a soloist with the Poznań Philharmony, Poznań Opera, Zielona Góra Philharmony, Poznań Academy of Music Orchestra and Capella Viridimontana.
SZYMON GUZOWSKI - double bass
Szymon Guzowski – Professor at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań holds a postdoctoral degree (Habilitation) in Musical Arts. He teaches double bass at the Academy of Music in Poznań.
A soloist and the principal double bassist of the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra, a finalist and laureate of numerous prestigious national and international competitions and festivals.
In his artistic career, he has collaborated with internationally renowned artists – instrumentalists, composers, vocalists, and conductors.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he works with various orchestras and ensembles specialising in early music, symphonic repertoire, and contemporary music.
